Young Feet

Children's feet are especially vulnerable and you always need to absolutely certain that their shoes fit correctly.

This is achieved by the feet being measured on a regular basis by a qualified fitter. The width is just as important as the length.

Once you have a pair of shows that are the correct size it is time to listen to the wearer of the shoes. Let them walk around and really find out if they are comfortable before making a purchase.

Never buy a pair of shoes and expect them to 'wear in' - shoes should be comfortable from day one!

Feet that are squashed into ill fitting shoes when young may have severe problems later in life. Shoes that are too large can cause just as many problems as those that are too small!

Remember that children grow at different rates. It is essential that your child's feet are measured at least every six months to ensure that their shoes fit correctly.
